Luca is an exceptionally gifted footballer and at this time of writing has just won the World Cup with England for the under 16's.

I have asked Luca to be my brand ambassador because he encompasses all the fantastic attributes in a student: he has diligently worked hard, is always polite and even though he is wonderfully gifted at being a footballer he has maintained a modesty that is to be admired.

Educational success

In lessons with me over the past two years Luca has gone up three levels.  I am not surprised. In every lesson Luca has worked hard, thought hard and tried his best.  His improvement is a result of his response to my teaching but it is also a result of his dedication and commitment to being the best student he can be.

Luca's Mom has said:

"Luca's confidence with English has definitely grown since he has had lessons with Laurence.  His vocabulary and ability to structure essays has greatly improved especially.

His results have greatly improved...I believe he has jumped up 3 levels from when he started with Laurence originally.

Luca thoroughly enjoys Laurence's style of sessions.  It is incredibly effective but not too intense, which has been fantastic."

Football success

Luca's Journey to being a professional footballer:

• Signed by Reading at 13.
• Offered a pre-scholar contract at the age of 14.
• This current season (2023) trained with the first team and called up for England
• Scored five goals for England.
• Offered a professional contract and also won the world cup with England for the under 16's.

Well done Luca.  A top footballer.  A top English student.  A top person.
